The long list of accolades for the 2018 Pickles grew a little longer at the end of August, with Perfect Game's announcement of their 2018 Summer Collegiate All-Americans. A list familiar to Pickles fans after fan-favorite Zander Clarke's recognition on last year's team, standout University of Portland left-hander Brad McVay and Saint Mary's shortstop Gio Diaz represented Portland for the 2018 season. With a Third-Team and Honorable Mention bid, respectively, the two Pickles each led the team in many Pitching and Offensive categories during the summer.

With the offseason in full swing, the Pickles and Portland Parks and Recreation are working together to keep Walker Stadium in top shape for 2019, which begins with a complete re-seeding of the outfield and infield grass. In preparation for the winter months, Portland Parks has removed the majority of the playing surface and will have a brand new field by next Spring. Another upgrade to the Walk, a new set of PA speakers was installed above the Northside Ford Party Deck in efforts to improve volume and overall sound quality at the stadium and within the surrounding neighborhood.

A new opponent in the WCL South for 2019, the recently announced Ridgefield expansion team has claimed their identity as the "Ridgefield Raptors". Playing in the brand new Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex, the team will join the Cowlitz Black Bears as Portland's rivals across the Columbia River.
