Co-owner Lisa Walker added, “This is fantastic for all Gresham families, this will create lasting memories and build a tradition that Gresham can be proud of.”
The Walkers, who also own the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (Northwest League) Class A affiliate of the 2010, 2012, 2014 World Series Champions San Francisco Giants and the Klamath Falls Gems (Golden State Baseball Collegiate League), announced on October 22nd they would be bringing West Coast League Baseball to Gresham.
