Craig Lawson joined the West Coast League staff in September 2024 as the director of communications and marketing.
A native of San Ramon, California and a graduate of Sacramento State (1996), he spent 14 seasons combined as the sports information contact for baseball programs at Sacramento State, Centenary (La.), Washington State and Boise State.
In 2024, he was the communications coordinator for the Boise Hawks of the independent Pioneer League. He has more than two decades experience as a radio and TV commentator at the collegiate and professional levels. Lawson worked as a beat writer covering the Shreveport Captains of the Texas League (1998) and has been a member of staffs at both the NCAA Men’s College World Series and the NAIA World Series.
