The West Coast League has announced its Baker Tilly Player and Pitcher of the Week award winners for July 27-August 2.

Pitcher of the Week: Evan Dugdale, Kamloops NorthPaws
Dugdale, a right-hander, threw the WCL’s only complete game of the season last Thursday in a shutout of the playoff-contending Edmonton Riverhawks. He allowed just four hits and one walk while striking out five. Dugdale also went 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBI in the same game. The performance continued one of the more remarkable two-way seasons in league history. He is now 6-0 with a 1.74 ERA on the mound. At the plate, he is batting .302 with 33 RBI, tied for eighth-most in the league.

Player of the Week: Evan Thomas, Springfield Drifters
Thomas, a redshirt freshman outfielder from UC Santa Barbara, hits .429 over five games, going 9-for-21 with a double, three triples and 13 RBI. Over that stretch, he posted a .762 slugging percentage and a .538 on-base percentage as the Drifters continued their second-half playoffs push.
