Three West Coast League alums were named to Louisville Slugger’s pre-season All-America teams as selected by Collegiate Baseball newspaper.

Former Bellingham Bells shortstop Colby Woodmansee of Arizona State was a second-team All-America pick. The junior played in the WCL following his frosh season at ASU and hit five home runs for the 2014 WCL champion Bellingham Bells.

Sophomore first baseman K.J. Harrison of Oregon State was also named to Louisville Slugger’s second team. Harrison appeared in two WCL games with the Corvallis Knights last summer before heading to Cary, North Carolina to play for Team USA in 2015.

Kitsap BlueJackets alum Danny Sheehan of San Diego State was a third team selection. The senior shortstop played for Kitsap in 2013 following his frosh spring at SDSU. Danny hit .273 with 8 doubles for the Jackets and was selected to play in the 2013 WCL All-Star Game.

Overall member attendance exceeded 400,000 last season. The 2016 54-game campaign opens Friday, June 3.
