PORTLAND, Ore. – The West Coast League’s Division Championship round is set, with two win-and-advance games Tuesday night sending one North team and one South team to Thursday’s WCL Championship Game.

NORTH DIVISION
Defending WCL champion Bellingham visits Wenatchee in a rematch with real history behind it. The Bells eliminated the AppleSox in a hard-fought Divisional Semifinal last summer; the year before that, Wenatchee knocked out Bellingham in the North Championship Game. The rivalry actually dates back to the league’s founding; in 2005, the league’s first season, Wenatchee beat Bellingham for the WCL title.

Bellingham (36-18) is in the playoffs for a sixth straight year and chasing their third WCL championship. Wenatchee (39-13), in the postseason for a fifth consecutive season, is going for its fifth title overall, but first since 2012.

Geoffrey McArthur (uncommitted) gets the starting nod for Bellingham, while Sean McGrath (Cal Poly) takes the mound for Wenatchee.

SOUTH DIVISION
Ridgefield visits Corvallis with the Raptors still chasing their first WCL championship (and first South Division title) in team history. Ridgefield has now reached the postseason in five of its seven seasons, and in three of its first four trips, Corvallis ended its run. The Raptors are skippered by Chris Cota, who last week became the third head coach in WCL history to reach 200 regular-season wins.

Corvallis, the winningest team in league history, has earned 10 WCL championships in 20 seasons, including seven straight from 2016 through 2023 (the WCL did not play in 2020). The Knights are looking to get back to the championship game after back-to-back South Championship Game losses to Portland in 2024 and 2025 — the same Pickles team the Raptors eliminated Sunday night.

Ridgefield and Corvallis both finished the regular season 31-23. The winner of their game will travel to either Bellingham or Wenatchee for Thursday night’s WCL Championship Game. Colin Nowaczyk (Nebraska) starts for the Knights, while the Raptors will lead with Declan Francis (LSU Shreveport).
