The Victoria HarbourCats made WCL history last night as they beat the Wenatchee AppleSox at Paul Thomas Sr. Field 7-4 to extend their record-setting win streak to 15 games. They broke the old mark – 14 consecutive wins – previously held by the AppleSox.
Victoria is currently in first place in the WCL North with a 15-3 record. The HarbourCats lead the league in attendance (2,096 per game), wins (15), batting average (.280), home runs (12) and fielding percentage (.978).
The HarbourCats look to build on their win streak tonight at Wenatchee. Victoria returns home to Royal Athletic Park on June 30 vs. Kelowna.
