The West Coast League’s Moss Adams Player of the Week and Pitcher of the Week, as announced by Commissioner Rob Neyer, are Wenatchee AppleSox infielder Easton Amundson (uncommitted) and Bellingham Bells right-hander Jack Erdman (Tennessee Tech).

Last week, Amundson knocked out six extra-base hits, including three home runs, while both driving in and scoring 10 runs for the AppleSox. Amundson also finished the week with a 12-game hitting streak and now leads the League in home runs (6) and RBI (17). The Idaho native from Nampa is uncommitted for the 2024 season after helping Lower Columbia College capture the NWAC title in May. His success at the plate is a carryover from the spring, when he also led the NWAC in home runs and RBI on his way to being named West Region MVP.

Last Tuesday night against the Kelowna Falcons, Bellingham’s Erdman was masterful on the mound, allowing only two hits with ten strikeouts in five shutout innings. A native of Kirkland, Washington, Erdman has now thrown the most scoreless innings (10.1) of any pitcher in the circuit this summer. He is set to transfer to Tennessee Tech after compiling a 2.85 ERA in 14 appearances for Bellevue College in the spring.
