Schimpf led the first-place Lefties to 5-1 week. The left-handed hitting slugger went 6-for-18 with 9 runs scored, 2 homers, 6 RBIs and 3 stolen bases.

This past spring, Schimpf hit .249 with 10 doubles, 7 home runs and 45 RBIs for the Lions.

Hunter French went 3-1 with a 4.05 ERA this past spring as a sophomore at Columbia Basin College in the NWAC.
