WCCBL sets new attendance benchmarks

For the fourth consecutive season, the WCCBL grew its fan base. 2008 attendance numbers set new benchmarks as league total attendance increased by 30%.

Bend and Wenatchee both eclipsed the 40,000 mark for overall attendance, the first two WCCBL teams to exceed 40,000 for a season.

Bend led the WCCBL in all attendance categories including overall total attendance as 42,562 Elks’ fans made it to Vince Genna Stadium this summer while Wenatchee recorded the second highest overall attendance by drawing 41,880 at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium in 2008.
