Perfect Game Crosschecker recently released its top 20 West Coast League prospects list. WCL MVP Vince Fernandez of UC Riverside was rated the league’s top prospect. The #2 rated prospect was third baseman Sean Bouchard (pictured at bat with the Walla Walla Sweets last summer), an incoming frosh at UCLA. Bouchard was also ranked the WCL’s #2 prospect by Baseball America. Medford southpaw David Peterson, an incoming frosh at Oregon, Baseball America’s top WCL prospect was rated the #3 prospect in the WCL by PGC. Fernandez was #3 on Baseball America’s top ten list.
