The Corvallis Knights and Victoria HarbourCats are set to clash in the 2019 West Coast League Championship Series.
Game 1 is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. Friday at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria. Game 2 will be at 7:05 p.m. Saturday at Goss Stadium; Game 3 (if necessary) would be at 5:05 p.m. Sunday, also at Goss.
The HarbourCats earned a spot in the WCLCS after a thrilling 8-7 walk-off win on Thursday over the Wenatchee AppleSox in the deciding game of the North Division Series. The Knights, who will be going for their fourth straight title, earned a return trip to the WCLCS after topping the Walla Walla Sweets 6-2 in the decisive third game of the South Division Series.
It will be a rematch of the 2017 Championship Series, when Corvallis defeated the HarbourCats 2-1. Corvallis won the 2019 season series, going 2-1 at Victoria on June 7-9; Victoria did not play at Goss Stadium this summer.
The Knights earned home-field advantage for the Championship Series by posting the WCL’s best regular-season record (42-12).
