WCL Game of the Week Debuts Tonight

PORTLAND, Ore. — The West Coast League’s inaugural Game of the Week broadcast airs tonight, as the Yakima Valley Pippins visit the Marion Berries at Chemeketa Field in Salem, Oregon. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 Pacific.

Marion Berries broadcaster Cole Weber will call the game, with Commissioner Rob Neyer joining the booth in the fourth inning. Fans can watch live on the Marion Berries’ YouTube channel, or stream free through WCL Live, the League’s dedicated video platform, available on the web and via the WCL Live apps for iPhone and Android.

“This is the first big event of our season, and I can’t think of a better way to spend a Friday night than in the booth with Cole, watching two contending teams play high-caliber baseball,” said Neyer. “Getting more eyes on this league, on these players, is exactly what we’re doing with this broadcast.”

The League also announced its next Game of the Week: the 2025 WCL Champion Bellingham Bells visiting the perennially strong Victoria HarbourCats on June 26.

The WCL’s Game of the Week airs every Friday through the rest of the 2026 season on the home team’s YouTube channel and WCL Live.

About the West Coast League
The West Coast League is North America’s premier summer collegiate baseball league, now in its 21st season. Sixteen teams span the region from Oregon to Alberta, giving top amateur athletes a grand stage for competition, development, and connection with the communities they represent, in the finest summer baseball weather on the continent. In the 2025 MLB Draft, two WCL alumni were among the first seven picks, which speaks to both the quality of the League and the collegiate coaches who trust it.
